The Coconut Castaways took a road trip to historic Lake Robbins Ballroom for the Jeanie Mac Dance for the Cure, with music by Standing Hampton.  While not an official club event, we had a wonderful time and ran into quite a few friends.  Looks like we're getting some new members out of the evening as well, so that makes it even better.  No word yet on how much money was raised for the cause but judging by the capacity crowd, I'm sure that it has to be a huge number.  We got to put on our silly hats, shake our groove "thang" and even participated in a cake walk.  Kory missed out by 1/2 step or we'd of had cake to go with our yummy dinner.  We look forward to going back next year and hope you'll join us.  This is a great venue, a great cause and great music.  Party on!
