Urbandale Friday
Fest
On Friday, July 6, 2007, the Coconut Castaways were on hand
at the Urbandale Friday Fest to help the Urbandale Jaycees
raise funds. Wearing their bright Down Under Coconut Castaways
shirts, several of the Castaways poured pitcher after pitcher
of beer to a thirsty crowd at the Friday Fest. Other Castaways
worked the crowd to pass out leis and talk to people about
the club. It was a good chance for us to volunteer in the
local community and partner with the Jaycees. Special thanks
goes to Down Under Bar & Grill for sponsoring us for this
