2007 IMT
Des Moines Marathon
As Cruise Director, I would like to thank all of the
volunteers who helped make the Coconut Castaways water
station the best at the IMT Marathon. What a festive
group we had! Special thanks go
to Byron Rogers for the sound system, and to Ruth Jones
and United Services for the use of the generator to run
it. What's a tropical party without
the tunes? We had a great turnout and the runners loved
our island atmosphere and festive attitudes. I think
we made some new friends. I'm always impressed with
what a great group we have and how much fun we all have
while helping out, no matter what the situation. You
guys are the best and make my job as water station captain
a lot easier than it otherwise would be!
