If you haven't tried this place out yet, here's your chance. Here's the quick version of their history - "Gwen Schlepphorst’s dream of a delicious pizza place with late-night slices was paired with Jeff Bruning’s idea of a tiki bar. Being that we took over the location of King-Ying Low, Des Moines’ oldest Chinese restaurant, we wanted to keep Asian inspiration on our menu. You can enjoy hand-rolled crab rangoons, family recipe egg rolls, Chinese ribs & move on to our Asian-inspired & traditional pizzas with many happy endings for dessert."
We'll be celebrating "St. Kahuna Kory's Day". Yes, it's Kory's birthday and while I won't give away his age, it ends with a 0.
Come on our right after work as their happy hour special means that when you buy a drink, you get a slice of their yummy pizza for free. So we'll start off with pizza, some tiki bar beverages and whatever you want to order from the menu. What a great way to kick off the weekend.
